Seven Years of Assassins

From the American Revolution to the guillotines of France, the great walls of China, Victorian London, and Ancient Greece– we’ve been everywhere with the Assassins. Whether producing live-action and animated broadcast spots, live events, activations, game announcements, loyalty programs, or DLC – you name it. We’ve worked closely with the award-winning marketing organization at Ubisoft to bring results to the company’s biggest franchise.

The Challenge

We were asked to maintain momentum as a front-line agency, initialize a conversation with new players, engage fans at live events, and, in general, delight consumers for over three years across numerous products at various stages in their lifecycle. Our campaign and client focused on North America, and we were tasked with identifying audiences with the most significant opportunity for growth. We drafted a strategy that specifically targeted each segment in a style, message, and execution that would compel action, whether pre-order, download, attend, or engage.

The Campaign

Through a combination of live-action, game-focused, live events, and animated spots, we brought the Assassin’s Creed Universe to audiences worldwide.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles forayed into a 2-D brushstroke world wholly unlike anything done before in the series. We contributed to the editing and distribution of the first part of three stories in Chronicles: China.

Live announcements for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate were supported by the NoodleHaus team. Hours of content, including trailers, social and digital ads, loyalty programs, complete level walkthroughs, and a return of the free-running AC Experience, where players achieved assassin-level status by running a course inspired by the missions in the game.

Creative-Driven Results

Through live installations at San Diego Comic-Con and digital loyalty programs like our Join the Brotherhood campaign – we inspire cosplay-levels of engagement from fans everywhere.

Our campaign for Assassin’s Creed garnered millions and millions of impressions and brought the franchise its biggest years on record with over 73 million units sold.
